DOUBLE-LOK DOUBLE PHASE CRIMPER

This roofing tool is a heavy duty tool consisting of two rotating cams, linked together and activated by one handle.  The operator can accomplish each phase independently of the other simply by placing either crimping cam over the panel interlock and activating the crimping handle.  The phase one cam is linked to the crimping handle which is welded to the phase two crimping cam.  Both phases can be accomplished with the operator keeping both hands on the tool in the same place.  This tool is used to crimp both crimps to start the auto seamer.  It also can be used to hand finish the seam around curbs or places where the seamer is obstructed and cannot finish the seam.  In case the seamer is not available at the beginning of the roof erection, the installer can use the phase one only of the tool to crimp the roof clips to temporarily adhere the roof system to the building structural.  Be sure to follow the manufacturer's roof instructions for the roof installation. The crimper will accept rib width's up to .88 inches with a rib height of 1.0 inch.
